The ideal all round boot for everyday challenges. Our Stockman boot is designed for those always on the move, built for the everyday guy who needs a reliable yet comfortable footwear option. From early mornings on the farm, meeting commutes or basic weekend activities our Stockman boot will have you covered. A combination of durable materials and a functional design makes this boot just right for confidence in the office and outdoors.

  • Manufactured with a double layer of leather (2.2mm full grain leather, lined with 1.6mm calf leather)
  • Thermoplastic toe puff and a heel stiffener for extra support
  • A steel shank between the insole board and sole offers extra support and stability
  • Insole board is secured to the upper with a double stitched 2.2mm braided nylon cord
  • Accommodates a wider foot with a roomy toe box
  • Sole is made from a genuine rubber
  • Can be resoled
  • Last: JG (This is a wide fit and offers a snugger feel all around)
  • Sole: JG (This sole is our lug option and is designed for grip. It is a genuine rubber and of a firm feel to provide stability under foot)

Product Care

The best way to preserve your Jim Greens is through regular and correct polishing. Water, heat and wear remove the natural oil from the leather, so when the tiny fibres dry out they become hard, brittle and break easily, thereby shorten the life of the leather.
For our leather boots we recommend any natural shoe polish found at your local store. For our suede options we suggest light brushing to remove dirt and a scotchguard for longer protection.
After a long day in wet conditions and you requiring your boots early the next morning, the worst possible solution is to artificially dry your boots. Leather fibres burn easily – especially when wet and therefore should never be left near a heater, placed in your oven or left in direct sunlight. For the best results, footwear should be dried out slowly and never subjected to any extreme heat. Should you work in constantly wet conditions, it is best to alternate between two or more pairs of our Jim Green boots.

We realise that buying footwear online is a daunting task and we are often asked to recommend a size by new Jim Green customers. If you happen to purchase a pair of Jim Green boots online and they do not fit, we will happily exchange them for you. If the measurements fall in-between the lengths provided, we do offer half sizes on certain styles. We can recommend a size but we can’t guarantee the fit.

    Just bought s pair (7/11). Since my feet are difficult to fit, I go with superfeet indoles. Sizing is true to size, toe box is nice and roomy for thick boot socks. Leather and sole seems to be made of good quality material. For the price they can’t be beat! Cheers

    I can’t believe that people were underselling this boot in quality.
    I originally purchased these boots as “beaters.” I have a 12 1/2 year old American Mastiff and she has a tendency to want to go to the bathroom with little notice, so I wanted something inexpensive that I could put on quickly. These boots however, quickly grew on me.
    I use these boots in all conditions, especially this current winter in Virginia, United States, and I cannot give enough compliments. I have gone as far as Allen Edmonds groups and shoe cobbler groups to raise awareness.
    The leather is durable, without being tough, and the boot itself is roomy, without being big.
    I look forward to buying more of your products in the future. Thank you!

    Even better looking in person. Classy and exceptionally functional. Additionally, I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of the materials used. Full grain leather outer with a calf skin inner makes a great pair of boots. The tread is strong and sturdy while not being too stiff. I can’t wait to wear these boots for the coming years. I definitely see myself getting them resoled once the time comes, nothing beats affordable durability.

    Update-

    That being said, I have one singular complaint/critique. The sizing tag on the tounge that says “Made in South Africa” is rather weak. After just twenty some odd days of wear, the tag has completely fallen to pieces. This does not affect the functionality, comfort, nor the beauty of the boot. However, I like wearing something that was proudly made in South Africa. To show that pride I’d love to see a fabric sizing tag that’s a little more permanent. Seeing as the talented team at Jim Green went to the trouble of nicely stitching the tag to the inner lining, why not stitch one made of something other than paper?

    Other than that, I am even more pleased with the rest of the construction of the boot now than I was when I got them. You can see the very pores and scars the cattle got while they were alive on the outside of the leather. Ive never seen such amazing ACTUAL Top Grain leather. It’s a smart, and handsome design that is both rugged enough for bushwhacking, and stylish enough to get compliments from people you wouldn’t expect. Great work Jim Green. These are my favorite boots.

    Been trying to wear this pair of slip-ons for awhile. My feet have never really agreed with shoes that don’t lace up tight(narrow feet). This boot slipped around on my foot. It is good for knocking around, but I don’t think I could walk more than a couple of miles in my usual size (US 12), without raw feet or worn out socks.
    I would like to revise this review or leave another one in the future, when I get these boots worn in better.
    Until then, I would recommend sizing down a half size if you really want these boots.

    Fantastic boot. Fit exactly true to size (I know because I tried 11 and 12 on sale at Amazon before I broke down and paid full price for 11.5 from Jim Green with no regrets). They look as great as they perform. A pair of aftermarket insoles and they’re extremely comfortable and supportive. Cannot recommend enough.

You'll be able to choose what you'd like to do and get a USPS return label.

Print up the USPS return label you've just created and give the package to your postal carrier.

The fastest and easiest way to get the correct size, color or style is to place a new order. The cost to return your order is on us!

If you are just wanting to return your order then please follow the same steps.

Your original order must then be sent back to our depot in their unworn condition with their original box and inserts within 60 days of their delivery.

Once received at the depot your order will then be refunded by a credit to your original method of payment, provided all the above criteria is met.

Once received all refunds will be processed within 10 business days.

REFUNDS
