The positive is they are what they say they are, seem to be reasonable quality, and did fit the barefoot african ranger I was buying them for. The downside is they are not zero drop, and the description didn’t mention it so I took a gamble. I am a Jim Green cult member with many pairs and was hoping these would help my low volume feet better fill my Horween BFARs, which they do work for that, but I’m not willing to do any additional drop (the 2mm strip of leather already in the boot is too much but the boots are so great I overlook that. Another plus is these don’t have arch support, which is the other thing I gambled on. Regardless, after seeimg the and feeling the drop I took these right out and they’ll probably end up in the garbage unfortunatley.

Not much leather in these , mostly rubber and heel is way thicker than forefoot, usable but not much good unless you want a bit of heel lift.

These insoles are such a nice upgrade from the original ones that came with my African Rangers.
[...]they have a nice tough foam which is comfortable and I think they will last longer.
Also my foot used to have a bit too much slop in my boot but now they are perfect. I totally recommend these insoles.
