- The boot is designed with 3 main focus areas: Comfort and Durability while at an Affordable price.
- Manufactured with a double layer of leather (2.2mm Full Grain leather, lined with 1.6mm calf leather).
- The Anvil sole is designed to mimic the feel of walking any terrain barefoot, while giving you extra grip and protection.
- The Heel stiffener is built in for ankle support and protection.
- NO STEEL SHANK.
- A leather midsole for added comfort, flexibility and feel underfoot.
- The leather midsole is secured to the upper with a double-stitched 2.2mm braided nylon cord.
- As with all our boots, these can be resoled due to their double stitch down construction.
- Our Barefoot boots come with a built-in leather half sock/insert. They do not come standard with a leather insert/footbed.
- Barefoot Zero Drop last – This last has a 3E wide fit and offers a zero drop fit with a spacious toe box (This offers a wide fit and extra room that allows for a more natural barefoot experience).

First off, just wanna say I like these boots. Wearing barefoot style shoes has improved my health, and I’m glad I have access to quality boots that offer a shape like this. I wear a size 12 normally, have a pretty wide foot, and size 12 is the right length and width. The boot runs deep, I have a lot of room above my foot. I’ll be cutting some leather insoles to compensate. I like the look of the boot and have gotten several compliments in the 4-5 times I’ve worn them. The leather feels strong and supple, I haven’t completely worn them in yet, but they are coming along nicely. A couple issues… The heel cup is rough, it will grind away at your socks, this may subside over time as it has gotten a bit better. The yellow leather on the interior dyes socks, If you wear light colored socks, they will get stained. Not knowing either of these things, a couple pairs of nice new socks that I also decided to splurge on got pretty mucked up. So wear some old socks during the break in period or maybe even beyond, I haven’t gotten there yet. I still like them enough to give 4 stars, but I can’t justify perfection with these issues. I will be wearing the boots a lot and foresee a long relationship with them.

So far I like this boot. Not wide as my barefoot rangers. It’s gonna take a while for them or break in. But I think the more I flex them by hand and wear them they loosen up. I would recommend, if you want instant wide, customize a pair on the website. Overall happy with them, and the price is right

I’m size 12 4E. Knowing this and the last being 3E I went half a size up to allow my foot to fit. It’s still a bit snug, I’m not able to wear my toe separators, but they’re still new. I got these as dress boots and I think they are going to do great. I’m trying to break them in a little more so they’ll soften and stretch and after four wears they have already loosened up some more where I can feel my toes spread. I’m not worried about the leather, it seems strong enough, especially with the lining, and soft enough to wear in nicely. I think I got spoiled by the AnatomX, but Jim Green is still doing great things for a growing community demanding more than rubber socks and toe shoes.
