I bought these as an Amazon customer in July 2020 and my review shows above. I wish I could upload a photo to show you. Very very good shape. Comfortable, leather has been very durable and they remain attractive. I still have a 95% of sole left and I walk flatfooted so the heels are level. I wore them today and at the end I wanted to tell rose anvil about them. He found them on his own. Both my purchase including velle look so good I can wait before ordering another pair. The rangers might be next.

Amazing quality at an economic price. The larger toe box is perfect for my wide feet.

Bought these after trying Georgia Boot’s chlesea boots. I have very wide, large feet (US 13 or 14) and the Georgia’s were unbelievably narrow even at a size 14 EE. Heard about these from Rose Anvil’s youtube as one of his top wide toe box shoe recommendations and immediately bought a pair. They were an instant classic as soon as I slipped them on. The most comfortable new boot I’ve ever owned and now after a month or so breaking in, they are my go-to slip on boot. The build quality is so impressive, especially for the price–all leather, even the insole. I can see these holding up for many years for me as long as I keep them well conditioned. I try to condition them once a week or so depending on wear. I’m a Jim Green convert because of these boots!

Be careful of your size!
Bought a pair of These way back in September for a more rugged looking casual shoe that I could wear day to day. Got a size 11 because I usually run larger, but were far too big. My feet slid around on the inside. So I sized down to a 10-1/2 and heels gripped much better, but the end of the boot was just short enough to the point where they rubbed on my big toe. After 5 hours-ish this would drive me insane so I really only wore them for a week and a half. On the flip side, they’re built well, they aren’t to bad for walking in, and the leather breaks in to a fairly nice look. It’s just a bit disappointing that I can’t wear these boots because of their size.
It should be noted that the heels are VERY wide, so be careful when sizing up and also without good socks, these boots can get a little swampy in the heat. Other than that, they’re good boots

Jim Green boots may be the best footwear value in the USA. Overall quality is comparable to boots costing much more. I’ve had both Blundstone and RM Williams, and the quality in construction and materials is better than Blundstone and compares very favorably to RM Williams. Mine required a few days to break in and are now quite comfortable. They fit true to size and have a wide toe box. I agree with prior comments about the midsole: boots of this quality deserve a leather midsole. Also, customer service is excellent. Gareth was very prompt to questions questions I had about size and fit. I wish Jim Green much success.

I am impressed with the quality of this boot. It’s definitely worth the money. They ran true to size for me. I however must say that the insole, if you want to call it that is of very very poor quality. It’s like a piece of cardboard. I put a Thorogood insole in it and they are very comfortable. I recommend this boot. I hope they improve the insole.

I had never heard of Jim Green, only one review, but that did not stop me from buying them. I am super glad I bought these. These boots are made of great leather on a goodyear welt so the shoe guy can can resole when its time. Jim must have known Vitale Bramani the founder of Vibram because Jim is using the original design of Bramani sole on these boots. So that is the best sole for a boot. The quality leather is thick and the inside is covered in calf leather, very soft and smooth. No laces its a slip on. The elastic pulls the leather snug on your foot. The toe box is generous. I normally wear a 12. I bought a 12 because they had no 12.5. I would have bought a 12.5 because I am using these as a work boot and I wanted extra toe room. They are still very comfortable after wearing them today. The brown leather is a dark brown. It has a pull on the front and the back of the top of the boot to make it easier to pull on. Insoles have never been a concern for me unless they slipped around. I noticed these have holes in them by design and they feel good as I stand in the boots. A fine boot is an awesome thing and these are awesome.
I promise these are excellent fitting, wearing boots. These are as good or better than Redwing. They are underpriced. I have recently bought 2 pairs of $100-200 boots both which I have returned. One had a tongue that was so thin and it was not stitched up high enough to keep water and dirt out. the ad deflected on its weaknesses. This boot has no weakness other than no one knows about them and the sellers are not promoting the boot or carrying all the sizes possible.
I am going to wear the hound out of these.

Hi Gareth!
Bought a pair of Stockman last year 2019! What an a amazing boot! I have worn them both in summer and winter and find them both comfy in all seasons! It far outweighs similar looking boots in both quality and price!
Keep up with making a awesome product!
