- Manufactured with a double layer of leather (2.2mm Oily Pull Up leather, lined with 1.6mm calf leather).
- Thermoplastic toe puff and a heel stiffener for extra support.
- A steel shank between the insole board and sole offers extra support and stability.
- Insole board is secured to the upper with a double stitched 2.2mm braided nylon cord.
- Accommodates a wider foot with a roomy toe box.
- Sole is made from a genuine rubber.
- Can be resoled.
- STC last – This last has a 2E wide fit and offers a roomy and rounded toe box.
- Sole: TW (This sole is our Tyre Wedge option and is designed for grip and comfort. It is a genuine rubber sole with with a softer rubber compound, to provide the best all round performance).

Outstanding everything I was looking for in a boot. Great looks, nice fit, solid leather, rugged sole and the cream on top is that the ARE resole-able. The wider toe box is a plus too. The JG knock it out of the park compared to BS.

I have very wide feet and bunions. Typically, I wear a size 8-9 and EE-EEE width. I tried these in an 8 and 8.5, and my feet were swimming in the length, yet they still weren’t wide enough in the toe box. They do look very well made for anyone that doesn’t have wack feet like me.

Gorgeous, distinct leather! Really solid construction. I love the wide fit. The tyre wedge sole is more rugged than the super soft wedge sole from other brands, but still very grippy and comfortable.
[...]It would be nice to have a leather pull tab. The green fabric pulls look okay but feel chinsy compared to the thick leather its attached to. Also, the heel could use a bit more curvature to lock the heel in better.
Overall, a really beautiful, rugged, distinct boot that gets lots of compliments.

Can’t deny the quality of the boot or it’s looks. Too much heel slip for me, however. Wish it was a better fit.
