The AnatomX 719 Boot: A new experience for next level comfort

The AnatomX 719 is the next evolution of a timeless boot design—where classic heritage styling meets natural movement and modern comfort. Built on our new anatomically shaped zero-drop last, this version takes the iconic 719 silhouette and reimagines it for those who want a more natural fit without sacrificing style.

Our Jim Green styling has always stood proudly apart from the norm, blending rugged practicality with distinctive character. The AnatomX 719 continues that tradition by combining old-school appeal with forward-thinking design and dependable craftsmanship.

The AnatomX 719 carries everything that makes a traditional 6-inch leather boot an essential in any collection. Its clean plain-toe design offers a refined, versatile look, while the leather uppers delivers the durability and character expected from a boot built to last. Combined with our renowned 360-degree Stitch Down construction, this boot remains rugged, dependable, and ready for everyday wear.

Underfoot, the new Africa Barefoot sole provides enhanced flexibility, grip, and ground feel, allowing your feet to move naturally while still delivering the toughness needed for daily life and outdoor use. The zero-drop platform promotes a balanced stance, while the generous toe box gives your toes room to spread and move as nature intended.

Finished with brass-coated steel eyelets, reinforced stitched uppers, and the uncompromising craftsmanship Jim Green is known for, the AnatomX 719 honours the heritage of the classic service boot while embracing a freer, more natural way of walking.

Whether you’re heading into town, onto the trail, or simply looking for a boot that combines heritage style with modern foot comfort, the AnatomX 719 is more than just a boot—it’s tradition, re-engineered.

I completely agree with the first review by Geoff. My experience though, only having 3E feet, is that they fit ALMOST just right true to size but could go a half size down to be perfect. I asked and they did go up a smidge in length per size to work in the volume. These being 4E allows for some great options and customization in fit and sizing. Either go full volume, and there is PLENTY for the barefoot enthusiast (width and toe box height), or plan to wear thick socks for warmth, or add insoles for a bit more cushion while also taking up volume (or both). My one constructive comment is that, JIM GREEN team, I hope you read this, because I love what you do and want more of your boots, is that you could then make a 3E foot shape AnatomX. I say make every width foot shaped. Of course remember their barefoot 3E last is great too, always remembering to size for socks/insoles etc (consider how slim your feet and ankles may be). I love their flat soles. Heels are a literally a pain for me now. And free toes is very good for your mobility health. Thanks for listening to everyone’s feedback JG! Keep it up!

I LOVE these boots. I pre-ordered them on May 8th and they arrived at the end of August. It was a long wait, my patience was tested, but it was absolutely worth it. I have very wide feet and for years I have been cramming them into boots that were too narrow. For the first time in my adult life, I was able to slip on a pair of boots (or shoes) without them feeling like a straight jacket. My feet are in heaven, wrapped in Bronco Leather. Now let me speak on the boots. The Bronco Brown leather is top notch. The different tones in the pull up leather give the boots a rugged characteristic and look. The double lasting makes these boot extremely durable and the Africa sole, feels great underfoot. I’ve grown to love the zero drop of barefoot shoes after getting my first pair of Barefoot African Rangers last February. I’ve been wanting a pair of 719’s for a while and when I saw these on pre-order, I knew these were the 719’s for me. Jim Green knows how to make a rugged boot with quality materials. I look forward to many years with my AnatomX 719 boots. I cannot recommend these boots enough, especially if you have a wide foot.
