Note: This is a 1 week review, after about 35 miles, mixed trail and street use…
[...]The Barefoot Razorback is pretty much a dream boot for me, with a classic hiking boot look and feel, but with a zero-drop sole. The Africa sole is very nice…I prefer it to the Anvil sole. I am heavier-set, and these boots provide a nice amount of shock absorption on harder surfaces compared to the Barefoot Ranger. I also prefer the ankle being higher, and the padding is very nicely designed and very comfortable from the get-go. These boots have a double layer of leather, but it is soft and comfortable from day one. The inside allows your foot to slide in easily. Entry and exit is a breeze. I have Barefoot Rangers, regular Rangers, and Barefoot Troopers, but these new Barefoot Razorbacks are by far my favorite. I snazzed ’em up with some bright red and yellow laces and they look great. They also look fantastic with the plain black laces, but I could not see them to tie them in dark conditions, lol. Thanks once again, Jim Green!
